Main characters are three young Muslim girls who meet up with Zheng He, the famous 15th Chinese admiral and explorer who also happened to be Muslim. They all wear the hijab but otherwise are quite assertive. Each of the girls has a special power which they each use to get out of trouble.

In the second book of the Jannah Jewels Series, the girls are caught and thrown aboard the ship of Zheng He, the famous Chinese Muslim Admiral.

Caught in a lightning thunderstorm, they must sail in raging waters to retrieve a rare medicine plant. Can the Jannah Jewels escape the fiery arrows of pirates and make it safely back home?
