Even though she has done a lot of research on Muslim mystic women, she has omitted many powerful references in which both the prophe has emphasized the importance of treating women with respect, mercy and kindness. Her presentation of women's rights in Islam was clearly lopsid|About the Author|Margaret Smith, a distinguished scholar of Sufism, obtained her Doctorate from the University of London, and is the author of several books on the subject of mysticism in Islam.
